Kids don’t sit still, life moves fast, and our camera rolls are full of blurry selfies and half cut off smiles.
These mini humans of ours? They’re changing daily one minute they’re splashing in the surf, the next they’re climbing trees, telling wild stories, and making you laugh so hard you snort.
Family photography with me isn’t about stiff poses or “everyone look at the camera.” It’s about playing, running, snuggling, being completely yourselves while I catch the magic in-between.
Why it matters
A session might feel like a splurge today, but it’s the kind of investment that pays you back over and over again. Because when you flip through your album, or see those frames on your walls, you’re not just seeing photos. You’re right back in that moment , barefoot on the sand, salty hair, kids hanging off your arms, hearts full.
This is your family’s story wild, imperfect, full of love and it deserves to be remembered in the most epic way.

Think about where you and your family come alive. Where you love to go on adventures—the places you could just go all day every day. How or where you spend your holidays together? This could be at home baking cookies, watering the garden, or in your backyard swimming pool. This could also be at the beach, or out in nature, or in your neighbourhood streets bike riding or skating. Think about what tells your story and makes your heart skip a beat.

Up to six people including kids and adults. For extended family there is an extra fee.

Let’s take the pressure off it being a shoot. Instead, let it be an experience and time you and your family all come together to connect, play, laugh and have a friend/professional like me capture that bond between you. Ensure the location is a happy place where you love hanging out altogether; bring some music and even a sneaky drink on the afternoon shoot.

Be yourselves. Stay away from matchy matchy, and don’t wear something just for the shoot that you would never wear in real life. Wear what makes you feel vibrant, that’s comfy and you can play in with your kids. For maternity shoots, I can advise you further on what to wear.

Two weeks after the session, we will arrange a Zoom call for you to view and select your favourite images. In peak season this may be up to three weeks, but I will always keep the communication lines open.

We can reschedule within reason for both and find a new date that aligns for both parties. If it’s windy or overcast, we’ll aim to find a spot at your location of choice that’s suitable and go full steam ahead. Some of these past conditions have been my absolute favourite sessions, with soft light due to overcast skies or the movement of wind in your hair and clothes.
